iso-desktop-x.1.0

AgentOS X Desktop install image updated to x.1.0

  • The public CDN Desktop install image is now Desktop ISO x.1.0, with a SHA-256 checksum sidecar.
  • The Server install image remains Server ISO x.1.0; first-install Desktop and Server product generation is aligned at x.1.0.
  • Use the current versioned filenames on the CDN for new or empty-disk installs. Day-to-day version and capability updates on installed systems continue through the signed version-patch path.
  • The historical Desktop x.0.2 public objects have been removed from the CDN and are no longer the first-install baseline.

AgentOS X version and upgrade maintenance timeline

  • 1.3.x series (including public OTA builds such as 1.3.15–1.3.22): no longer the public upgrade-maintenance baseline after the versioning redesign; use the current flagship first-install and OTA coordinates.
  • 2026-07-19: Desktop baseline temporarily set to 1.3.17 with public ISO; later superseded by the flagship baseline below.
  • From 2026-07-19 until the rebaseline: OTA 1.3.18+ single Update entry; fixes for check/probe, progress, and settings-shell issues.
  • 2026-07-21: flagship public ISO x.1.0 (Desktop / Server) published; OTA restarts at 0.0.1; 1.3.x OTA packages removed from CDN.
  • 2026-07-28: Desktop install image x.0.2 published (install and desktop fix set). Public Server image remains x.1.0 until a matching Server release.
  • Current maintenance baseline: first-install Desktop x.0.2 · Server x.1.0; installed OTA from 0.0.1 (see CDN for current latest). Day-to-day upgrades use signed OTA; new machines and reinstalls use the ISO on the downloads page.
x.0.2

AgentOS X Desktop x.0.2

  • AgentOS X Desktop install image x.0.2 is published, with improved support for automation devices.
  • 1. Settings, language models, and system update: fixes for Settings open/detection failures, incorrect language-model configured state, and system-update entry detection so check and apply work as expected.
  • 2. Install and first boot: fixes for black screens, missing disks, and first-start service failures for more reliable clean installs.
  • 3. Desktop collaboration: a single Talk launcher for collaboration.
  • 4. Automation devices (AGPK): official software-market modules for industrial automation controllers (including a Siemens S7-1500 sample and edge read/write); the system can connect to and control automation equipment through official packages.
  • Use this ISO for new installs and reinstalls; systems already installed continue day-to-day system upgrades through signed OTA.

AgentOS X Desktop 1.3.16: new UI and operating model (historical)

  • Historical: Desktop 1.3.16 introduced a new interface and operating model.
  • 1.3.15→1.3.16 was CLI-only at the time; System Update button available from 1.3.16.
  • Current flagship baseline: see same-site changelog x.0.2 and the version timeline (Desktop x.0.2 · Server x.1.0; OTA from 0.0.1).

  • Historical entry only. Desktop baseline was briefly set to 1.3.17 with a public ISO.

  • Follow the same-site timeline changelog and the system version blog for current rules.

Major update to system updates and software installation

  • This release changes how installed systems update, and how system updates relate to software installs.
  • Disk-installed instances update day to day via signed OTA, from System Update. Routine upgrades no longer require reinstalling from a new ISO.
  • ISO remains for first install only. After install, version rolls use OTA.
  • System services and system UI ship over OTA. Apps and optional capabilities install through the package market. The two paths are separate and do not substitute for each other.
  • OTA releases are written back into the ISO bake in the same delivery window so new installs and upgraded systems stay on the same product generation.

CRVA mascot and first-party website AI support

  • Brand pack now includes the 8-bit mascot CRVA (克瓦): lore is “Crabs that like to eat apples.” Used for social and status expression; it does not replace the primary triangular-knot logo for favicons or app icons.
  • First-party AI support is live on the AgentNet websites: Help Center at /help, site-wide Messenger, AI first replies grounded in help articles, with escalation to humans when needed. This is for AgentNet’s own cloud/club sites only—not a third-party support SaaS.
  • Support conversations run inside the WEBSITE process for visitors and signed-in users; admins can list conversations.
v1.0

AgentOS X, runtime, and IM updates

  • AgentOS X Server and Desktop images are available from the public CDN with checksums. You can install them on your own servers or machines. Install steps are on the docs downloads page.
  • The AI-employee runtime and common tools ship with AgentOS X. They are not offered as a separate product.
  • Model configuration supports API keys and OAuth, with multi-vendor presets for switching models in your environment.
  • AgentNet IM desktop improves sessions, settings, and status. Harmony and Android clients can open mail-related entry points. Messaging remains available.
  • The software market can install host health and security extensions—for example scanning, baseline checks, and login protection—for self-hosted operations.
